Had a frustrating go at it over the last few days. I am very easily distracted and the internet doesn't help.
Regardless, I have been making progress. And now I'm using an open source program called oStorybook which is basically used for organizing the various sections of a novel. Every day I come up with new ideas and write them down somewhere. For example, today I've been thinking a lot about the connection between the hideous brutalism that was used at my old university and egalitarian ideology.
I always hated college. They all look like this, it's all so dishwater and depressing. I know the rationale behind brutalism, but god is it so not worth the experiment. It makes the whole world feel stupid and small, and I can't explain why other than perhaps my own feelings towards it. It makes me feel like this is the "ruling aesthetic" of life if that makes sense. That this society we are about to enter is just a fucking high school. That this is it, we've figured it all out. There's nothing to see here. Meaningless university, meaningless platitudes, meaningless ceremonies. Institutionalized education is, and has always been, a menace to the public.. And it is what our society strives towards. I work in run down neighborhoods and they're all just an extension of the ugliness and the mediocrity of the school system.
I'm probably going to talk about this stuff to an extent, incorporate many of the design elements I remember being the ugliest. God, people who make this type of architecture should be excluded from our society. It's just unhealthy.

Anyways, I also added the pixel art functionality to the forum, which I made a sticky about, and I also edited the comments section some more. That's all for now
